The Vergeet-My-Nie Residence is a vibrant and dynamic community for female students at the University of the Free State, located at 205 Nelson Mandela Drive, Bloemfontein, South Africa. Established in 1976, it has become home to 217 students who contribute to its lively and diverse atmosphere. The residence’s motto, “Nomen Amoenum Est Omen Vitae” (translated as “My beautiful name is life”), reflects its commitment to celebrating life and individuality.
At Vergeet-My-Nie, students are encouraged to embrace all aspects of university life while maintaining their unique identities.
